**Somatic
Experiencing is a short-term naturalistic approach to healing trauma. The process
is based on studying wild prey animals, which are rarely traumatized, although
they are regularly threatened. Unlike prey animals, human beings with our rational
brains (neo-cortex), override or inhibit the natural animal instinct to discharge
trauma. The result is that trauma remains locked in our muscle, bones and nervous
system. This can cause extreme experiences such as fear, anxiety, rage, feelings
of helplessness and a sense of loss and depression. In addition, it can result
in a number of felt sense (somatic) experiences such as numbness, pain anywhere
and everywhere in the body, tight muscles, dizziness, vision changes, loss of
appetite, diarrhea and insomnia to name just a few. Using the model of an animals
ability to discharge trauma, we create a safe circle through prayer, smudging,
sacred song and silence, where you can let go and take the time to really feel
in your body the places that allow you to feel safe, happy, energized and alive.
Then we gently, ever so slowly approach the unsafe, painful places, through a
system developed by Somatic Experiencing, never, never jumping into the well of
trauma, but teasing at the outskirts of the trauma so that you can return to your
established resources, coaching the bodies own innate process to transform your
nervous system.
I am the leader of a Traditional, Ceremonial Azteca/Mexika
Dance circle. We dance to fulfill prophecies that were put in place for us by
our ancestors. The Dance opens your heart and lifts your spirit. It is the Flower
and Song of my people. Each dance represents the spirits of our land, the wind,
the rain, the earth and planting and hunting. Danza Azteca is a living, evolving,
cultural tradition filled with the artistic and spiritual traditions of the Pre
Colombian Indian Nations of Mexico, and their descendants. It is a form of prayer,
individual, and yet communal. It is a way of life, all encompassing. It is
a form of ancestor worship, and a way of communicating with the future yet unborn.
It is not just a modern folk dance tradition. In reality La Danza Azteca is closer
to a church service, than to a ballet performance. Danza Azteca is a form of communication.
It is a rich blend of music, choreography, poetry, theatre, and most importantly
of all, of deeply held spiritual faith.
La Danza Azteca is a culmination of
fifty thousand years of cultural celebration within the valleys and forest of
Mexico. Danza Azteca is kinetic prayer. Using brilliant colours in their uniforms,
headdresses, and musical instruments, the Azteca dancers communicate across
generations, sacrificing their bodies, their economic abilities, and even their
limited socio-political power, to carry on a tradition which they have been
entrusted with. Mixing pre-Columbian spiritualism with Spanish folk Catholicism,
and to a lesser extent, African animism, dancers of the Azteca tradition redefine
modern Native American tradition. Using intricate dance steps, turns and jumps,
the dancers evoke a kinetic prayer. Drums, seed pod shells, flutes, mandolins
and guitars, unite to create a mind expanding experience that reflects the cultural
heritage of Modern Mexico and Aztlan. Each dancer according to his or her
age, agility and physical stamina, dances in cohesive unity to create prayer:
kinetic, powerful and emotional. The prayer is carried within the dancer's
heart and without the dancer's consciousness. The Azteca dance tradition is a
climax of thousands of years of cultural wars, conquests and ultimately, survival.
This is perhaps the greatest legacy of the Azteca dance tradition.Through
the dance steps, drumbeats, and ceremonies, the memory of ancient peoples survives
into the 21st century. Through this tradition, the largest indigenous nations
of America (the Mexican and Chicano Nations) find new spiritual, cultural,
political and economic power.

Introductie:
De
ethnische groep Wirrarika leeft in het Noorden van Mexico in een ruwe omgeving,
wat tevens ervoor zorgde dat hun cultuur en gebruiken zuiver bleven en er geen
invloed kwam van buitenaf die het konden bedreigen.
De oorsprong van de Wirrarika
of Huicholes is onzeker, in overeenkomst met verscheidene onderzoekers, gelooft
men dat ze een onafhankelijk leven van de grote pre-Spaanse rijken hebben behouden;
toch vertellen de Wirrarikas dat hun oorsprong in de heilige plaats Teakata bevindt,waar
het vuur het eerst is ontstaan- of grootvader vuur zoals zij het noemen en daarna
is de guacamaya ontstaan(papegaai), daarna kwam de boa(slang), en die verenigde
zich met de guacamaya en zo creeërden zij samen de regenboog, (Quetzalquatl-de
Gevederde Slang) later als uit een vuur, is de zon geboren, de regen en de aarde
en tenslotte de mensen. Vandaag de dag ondanks de verwoestende omstandigheden
van ontwikkeling, vertegenwoordigen zij één van de inheemse culturen
die het meest erin geslaagd is om hun miljoen jaren kennis te behouden in de kunst
van de genezing.
Don Toño's kosmos visie is vol van mythes,goden en
legendes, voorgesteld door kleurrijke figuren die in zijn kleren worden geweven
en alsook gevormd worden in zijn ambachten. bovendien wordt deze kosmos visie
sterk omgezet in energie, gedurende het praktiseren van zijn verschillende ceremonieën,
die in de loop van bijna het hele jaar worden uitgevoerd. Binnen de gemeenschap
Wirrarika zijn de Maraákames de genezers die zorg dragen voor de patiënten.
Diegenen
die enkel zingen en communiceren met de Geesten, diegenen die behandelen met energie
door de ziekte eruit te trekken.Ze belichamen deze door op het moment dat het
loskomt, het uit te zuigen met hun mond, en we hebben diegenen die zingen en genezen:
zoals in het geval van Don Toño.
In de ceremonie van genezing, praat
Don Toño met de Geest van het vuur,stelt zich open voor alle zegels van
energie, groet de vier windrichtingen en opent de genezingscirkel van het medicijn.
SergioTorres Lopez
Als baby heeft Sergio
twee schorpioenenbeten gehad. Toen hij na dagen onbeweeglijk te hebben gelegen
toch plotseling weer begon te bewegen wist iedereen dat dit jongetje bijzonder
was. In zijn vroege jaren was Sergio karateka die in veel landen wedstrijden deed
en lesgaf. Ook heeft hij enige tijd in China doorgebracht om de kneepjes van
het vak daar te leren. Sergio is Kosmische Wind in de 13 Manen Kalender; degene
die kosmisch communiceert met de spirits.
Zo heb ik hem meegemaakt. Om de
windrichting te bepalen van een plek, kijkt hij niet op een kompas of naar de
zon, hij zoekt de plek af naar tekenen. Ongeveer 2 jaar geleden had Sergio een
droom, waarin hij een plek aangewezen kreeg om een temazcal (zweethut) te bouwen.
Toen hij met zijn groep op die plek ging kijken bleek dat te worden gebruikt als
vuilnisbelt. Toch gaf Sergio gehoor aan zijn droom en begon al het afval te verwijderen.
En wat kwam daar onder al dit afval tevoorschijn? De resten van een oude Azteekse
tempel!
Sergio wordt door de groep 'el proffe' genoemd, de leermeester. Maar
bovenal is hij een enorm innemend mens.
Heriberto Villaseñor
Als
vader van 8 kinderen zou je zeggen dat Heriberto en zijn vrouw Nubia weinig tijd
meer over zouden hebben voor spirituele bezigheden. Niets is minder waar. Zelden
heb ik een gezin gezien dat zo gestroomlijnd is als zij. Als stamvader staat
Heriberto voor iedereen klaar die hulp nodig heeft. Heriberto is ingewijd in Lakota
ceremonies,
hij is o.a zonnedanser en corredor (zweethutleider - letterlijk:
doorgang). Bijnaam voor Heriberto is dan ook 'Lakota'.
Zijn grote voorbeeld,
inspirator en leermeester was Raymundo 'Tigre' Pérez, een in 1940 in de
V.S. geboren half mexicaan die een van de inspirators/oprichters was van de chicano
beweging, die vocht voor de rechten van de mexicaanse inwoners in de V.S. en die
op latere leeftijd een visioen had waarin hij zag hoe Moeder Aarde treurde omdat
haar kinderen hun relaties met het universum vergeten waren, evenals hun oorspronkelijke
talen en ceremonieën. Heriberto heeft 20 jaar met Tigre gewerkt. Heriberto
heeft de Kanto de la Tierra ceremonie geïntroduceerd in Mexico en in Zuid-America
in Santiago de Chile,Net als Tigre Pérez zet Heriberto zich in om mensen
zich weer te laten verbinden met hun bron

Dave Hegglun
komt van Nieuw Zeeland, hij is een Pakeha, of een Europese Nieuw Zeelander. maar door zijn werk en familie heeft hij een diepe verbinding ontwikkeld met
de Maori, hun cultuur en tradities. Hij is een tohunga, of een expert,
op het gebied van medicijn planten en beeldhouwen. In Nieuw Zeeland heeft hij
een grote reputatie verworven door het beeldhouwen van sieraden en sculpturen
uit jade, been, steen en paua. Dave Hegglun heeft een bijzondere kennis
van vele medicijn planten en hij is ook een zeer gewaardeerde healer. Hij
kan heel duidelijk, op een zachte manier en met veel geduld, de innerlijke verbindingen
tussen de dingen in detail uitleggen. Zijn vaardigheden als beeldhouwer
zijn enorm en hij heeft vele studenten hier in getraind.

Sangoma & Priester
Elliot Rivera is afkomstig uit Puerto
Rico en werk al 30 jaar als spiritualist - medium. Hij is met de gave van ziener
en healer geboren en door zijn grootmoeders van vroegs af aan onderwezen. 17
jaar geleden is Elliott als priester van de Santeria geïnitieerd in de leer
van Palo Mayombo. Deze werkt met Eggun (de voorouders). De Santero is als
een therapeut/ counselor.
De cliënten komen met concrete problemen - ongeluk
in zaken, ziekte, psychische problemen - en ze zoeken daar een oplossing voor.
Ook is hij priester van Yemaya, de godin (orisha) van de zee en al het water
ter aarde. Als trancemedium orakelt hij de kennis die word doorgegeven door
de voorouders of de Orisha's aan de cliënt. Zes jaar geleden is hij in
Afrika geïnitieerd als Sangoma priester (sjamaan). Als Sangoma bekommert
hij zich om de zieken en hij kijkt in de toekomst. Elliott werkt op een holistische
manier met regeneratieve therapieën, die massage aromatherapie, oorkaarsen,
voeding, reflexologie en acupunctuur combineren met verschillende sjamanistische
zienswijzen op lichaam, geest en ziel.

When Orna in 1993 was hearing;
her own inner
sound that she
could not relate to any known
instrument she had no idea
that
it was the beginning of a journey
that would be thrilling and long
at the same time.......
The first station was the encounter with sounds
of singing bowls and with the KoTaMo. "Once I heard that the wing-stroke
of certain angels has a sound so beautiful that all description would be surpassed. That through the motion of the wings sounds would break away which have never
been heard on earth, so fine, so ethereal, so... just angelic beyond all description. These casually said words engraved themselves in my mind as ardent desire
to once be able to hear and experience the sound. Yes, perhaps even to find a
sound in an instrument that possibly could nearly match it. As often the case
with things one seeks most, they usually are very close by. At that time already,
I played an instrument which found its way to me in an enchanting manner. It is
an instrument with 48 strings which actually covers three in one: A Koto, a Tanpura
and a Monochord. The Koto is a Japanese string instrument, the Tanpura comes from
India and the Monochord is a so-called prime instrument. One could call it the
mother of all string instruments. On my Monochord I fixed 31 cords tuned to the
same pitch thus intensifying the hearing pleasure of the upper notes. To play
this instrument has always meant something special to me because - to my knowledge
- it is unknown how this instrument is to be played in a concertante manner. It
is used for meditation and healing purposes but not played at concerts. This means
that the audience and I can submerge with "fresh ears" into the world
of sounds. Another peculiarity ist hat ist sound is somehow fragile and yet very
strong, somehow spheric. More than with my other musical projects I take good
care where and in which setting we are engaged. The sea is not spilled into a
lake. Churches and meditation halls have proven to be rewarding vessels giving
the sound the needed space to unfold. Or is it perhaps also because it is said
that angels are attracted by such environments? At times when the instruments
sound rises it feels as if by its tones on is carried to another world. Then one
is suddenly in the Himalaya and does not even notice that actually wings would
have been needed..." Orna Ralston 1994
The journey goes on. Now it
is he singing bowl that fascinate Orna. But it will take a long time until she
will find the right ones....
Back to her professional career. Between 1996
- 2000 she undergoes a training as a art- and expressional therapist which she
finishes with a MA, Magister Artium in art therapies with psychology as her minor
subject.
4 years later Orna Ralston gets an invitation to the cinema. They
are showing a documentary about shamans. As she leaves the cinema, the first thing
she says is: " I am so happy that I am not one of them". Without knowing
that just a couple of weeks later she will meet shaman and matakit (seer) Wai
Turoa-Morgan from New Zealand. "Do you know that you carry shamanic energies
in you? You need a special training" Wai said and accepts her as her personal
assistant and student. From this time on Orna accompanies Wai to many of her workshops
all over Europe. She is taught how it has been done in former times: she is helping
her teaching and is making her own discoveries and experiences. Memories start
to bubble up and get alive and gradually she has to recognize that she learns
to re - connect herself not to new stuff but to old one.

Levend vanuit de donkere dieptes van de vrouwelijke essentie. In beweging,
in overgave, in kwetsbaarheid, in vuur, in passie, in stilte. We komen
op de aarde en brullen de longen uit ons lijf. We huilen, snikken, snerpen,
brabbelen, krabbelen en grauwen. Er zit een enormbereik en vrijheid van expressie
in ons ieniemienie lijfje. Klank maken is zalig. Het zet je met je voeten op
de aarde. Als kindje was zingen en 'brabbelen' voor mij pure magie en tegelijk meer
realiteit dan de wereld van de volwassenen. Ik brabbelde en zong in mijn eigen
taal. Urenlang verbleef ik in mijn wereldje en speelde verschillende rollen
in mijn eigen theater. De ene keer was ik een kirrende prinses, de andere keer
de brullende draak. Naarmate ik ouder werd leerde ik dat ik voor mooi zingen
werd beloond. Ik leerde woorden in slikken. Ik leerde mijn stemming beheersen.
Met het leren van de eerste beperkingen werd ook mijn stem ingeperkt en minder
flexibel.
Conservatorium
Tijdens mijn studie zang aan het conservatorium
werd ik verrast door een stemknobbel op mijn stembanden. Daar mee strijdend,
kwam ik tot de ontdekking dat mijn stem zich niet alleen beperkt tot mijn stembanden
en mijn hoofd, maar dat mijn hele lichaam een klankkast is, die mee resoneert.
Dat er in mijn lichaam heel veel verschillende stemmen wonen, met verschillende
verhaal. Het geluid wat ik toen ontdekte herkende ik niet als van mij en ging
veel verder dan mooi' zingen. Het veraste me, ontroerende me diep, maar beangstigde
me ook. Wat leeft er allemaal in mij, wie ben ik, wat klinkt er allemaal mee
in mijn stem? De stem is meer.. De stem is niet alleen zingen, het is veel
veel meer. Ik ervoer dat alles uit trillingen bestaat. Licht, geluid, iedere
cel en atoom in mijn lichaam, elke emotie of verhaal zingt en heeft me iets
te vertellen. Dit betekent dat jij en ik een ingenieuze symfonie van trillingen
zijn, die elke minuut verandert. Door mijn eigen klank of die van een ander,
kan ik deze symfonie in beweging zetten, laten stromen en beïnvloeden. Momenteel Op
dit moment ben ik de eerste Soulvoice practitioner in Nederland. Soulvoice
is een vooruitstrevende en baan doorbrekende methodiek op het gebied van stemheling.
Karina Schelde uit Nieuw Zeeland zet deze methodiek neer door de hele wereld.
Haar boek kwam reeds uit in Engels, Frans, Duits, Zweeds, Italiaans en in oktober
in het NEDERLANDS!! Mijn ervaring met deze methodiek is dat het alles omvattend
is. Het is transformerend, inspirerend en laat mensen hun eigen kracht belichten

Zilliacus is a counsellor and body therapist.
She is connected to the Nordic
shamanism using mythology, sagas as expressions as gateway to the Soul.

In 1998 ben ik voor het eerst in contact gekomen met Familieopstellingen,
deze vorm heeft me ongelofelijk geraakt
en geïnspireerd. De liefde
en acceptatie voor het leven in Familie opstellingen raakt me nog steeds.

Over Arjan:
Ik dans al jaren de ritmes, ik dans mijn
hele leven al, ik dans mijn leven.
In de dans vind ik vrijheid. De vrijheid
om mezelf te voelen en te uiten.
En door te dansen ervaar ik de verbinding
met de mensen en de wereld om mij heen.
Ik heb de opleiding voor docent vijf
ritmedans bij Gabrielle Roth gedaan.
Ik wil nu de ruimte creëren waarin
andere mensen hun dans kunnen onderzoeken.
Daarnaast ben ik acteur en speel
voornamelijk voor kinderen.
Het kinderpubliek kijkt vanuit hun hart en verstaat,
meer dan de taal van woorden,
de taal van het lichaam. En de taal van het
lichaam, dat is de dans.
Wave dag
Om te gaan in je eigen flow,
de beat
te voelen in elke vezel van je lijf,
je over te geven aan de dans,
creativiteit
te vinden voor verandering,
en getuige te zijn van de stilte tussen beweging.
Deze dag is om lekker te dansen, te herinneren dat je een lijf hebt, om te
weten dat je ademt, je hart klopt en
je bloedt stroomt; kortom om te weten
dat je leeft.

Annulering
Bij aanmelding voor een workshop dient het volledige bedrag te
worden overgemaakt op
rekening nr. 57.37.63.771 t.n.v. Baba Jaga o.v.v. de
workshop.
Hierbij is de volgende annuleringsregeling van kracht;
Bij
afmelding 3 weken voor aanvang ben je 25% van de kosten verschuldigd
Bij afmelding
2 weken voor aanvang ben je 50% van de kosten verschuldigd
Bij afmelding 1
week voor aanvang van de betreffende training ben je het totale bedrag verschuldigd.
Wel is het mogelijk dat een andere persoon je plaats inneemt.
