Rooms for inspiration
The
Baba Jaga centre offers rooms to hire for inspiring activities and meetings in
the area
of personal development and growth.
There is space for giving
workshops and for group courses.
It is possible to arrange
catering as well as overnight accommodation.
The centre arises from
my vision and is kept afloat by my passion.
Ceremonial room
This is
a uniquely formed space of 56 m2, featuring a domed ceiling which gives the room
an unusual
acoustic as well as spatial aspect. The walls are finished with
adobe plaster thus creating a restful,
earthing and harmonious atmosphere
in the room, which also features an attractive wooden floor and
is heated
by a large wood-burning stove.
Dining room
The atmosphere of this centrally heated 52 m2 room is
again created by wood and adobe,
making it the perfect place to get together
for an inspiring conversation and a good meal.
The south room
This is a large (80 m2), light,
south-facing room with a balcony which is ideal for all kinds of workshop activities.
Once again, the room is lovingly finished in adobe with a wooden floor and
warm colours.
The high windows ensure plenty of sunlight and offer a beautiful
view of the garden.
| Baba Jaga centre facilities The Baba Jaga meeting centre has four toilets,
three showers and a bath. There is space for lots of people to sleep in the two
top-floor communal bedrooms, as well as a separate bedroom with balcony for group
leaders/instructors. | Possible
activities Workshops, introductions, courses, celebrations, readings, meetings, conferences, topic evenings, weekends, trainings, rituals, yoga, tai chi, dancing, mantra singing, chancel song, consonance workshops, meditation etc.

lodge In the beautiful garden surrounded by the Groninger
landscape stands the sweat lodge.

van der Meer is an experienced sweat lodge leader. |

| The
Baba Lodge There is also a charming lodge in the garden which is partially
sunken into the earth. An east-facing window lets the first dawn rays into the
lodge; the glass front provides a lovely view of the pond and surrounding countryside;
and the splendid glazed roof allows night time communion with the realm of moon
and stars. The interior is made from adobe and wood and is heated by a stove thus
creating a space that is perfect for either an individual to withdraw in silence
and reflection or for hire as a meditation/practice space for small groups. |

garden The garden grows with all the wisdom of the Groninger land; where the ancient brooks still flow; where a connection with the original truth of nature is to be found.
